Open Java Extensions (OJE) provides clean-room developed versions of Java standard extensions under an open source license. This permits developers free access to the implementation details of extensions for use and optimization. The main focus of the project is to produce implementations that are faithful to their originals. Also, since many extensions exist only to define a framework while leaving implementations to third-party projects, OJE will provide numerous reference/production implementations that use these extensions.

New web site is in the works...watch for it :)
OK, I'm nuts! I've started a JFC implementation. Source is currently not available from here yet, but is accessible from anonymous cvs from the 'source' module
If you have an open source version of a Java standard extension you're supporting, send me a link and I'll add it here
Thanks for visiting. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to contact me. Also, I would love to hear of any projects you are using these extensions in.
